Maybe in Uzbekistan the people are ignorant and can't have a good education and can't think themselves which is good or not?

Q: - Why "Preliminary registration is required" ?

A: - Preliminary registration is required because American Club is located in the business center where there are many international organizations which introduce different fields and interests of different countries and thus the building is guarded by a private security agency for security reasons. Consequently unregistered people will have no chance to enter this building without a preliminary registration.

Q: - Why you point out that "AC is secured zone"?

A: - AC secured zone is the place which is under surveillance of guards employed by a private security agency.

A: - Education is different from intelligence. You can be very intelligent but not educated.

A: - We are the people who would like to create an environment to encourage people to practice English and to know more about the country where English is spoken. Especially if we take into our consideration the fact that in Uzbekistan there’s a lack of practice.

A: - Definitely. One of the concepts of couchsurfing is to make the world a better place. That’s what we are trying to do.

So in this country people can be intelligent, or either very intelligent,I wonder if appling local coulture they will never reach the status of educated. In my opinion reading your words the answer is not

Dear burattino,

judging from your own words, this AC initiative sounds like a tentative of importing (or imposing?) a dominant culture and its associated lifestyles over the autochtonous ones. A totally different story would be the offering of foreign language, history or geopolitics courses, which could be helpful to open new perspectives and allow people to form their own opinion. But this doesn't seem to be the intention here - it rather looks more like a "promotional" move.

Ora vorrei rispondergli:
- Prima di tutto pubblicando la sua mail pubblicamente in modo che tutti la vedano.
- Ribadendogli che io non sono mai stato volgare ne offensivo.
- Richiedendogli giusto una delle domande a cui non ha risposto, grosso modo questa: "Perchè una famiglia americana in età avanzata [ricordo che lui ne ha 24 ed i genitori quindi almeno sui 50. Ed il padre è il direttore di questo "centro studi"], lascia tutto e si trasferisce nello "sperduto" Uzbekistan per aprire un centro studi e mostrare la bandiera americana ovunque".
Gli chiedo anche chi finanzia il progetto.

I reply you only in public becouse i don't have nothing to hide.
Unlike of your language in the letter that you sended me in private, i was never vulgar and i never used bad words to your person.
But maybe not uzbek people but you need education.
Aniway i don't want have more nothing to share with you, becouse for me is clear which is the goal of your stay in Uzbekistan and that you are only an simple employee.
Or maybe i not understood and you can clarify answered at these simple questions:

- Why a normal family must to move in Tashkent for to open an association whith the goal to educate uzbek people.

- Who pays for your "noble" project.

- Why you show in your pics american flag everywhere. Which is the meaning? Maybe subliminal?

I apologize to everyone for the controversy but i thought was right to bring to light some doubt about this strange association that want to educate "poor" uzbek people.

Mr. Yorkman, sorry for my english but thanks to God i was educate in Italia.
