I am not aware of many lastest news, but can tell you what I know anyway:) Fisr thing - lately they had parley in Minsk and signed another cease-fire. But still there is issue with one hot point Debaltsevo. One collegue of mine has friends from Ukrainian army there. They called her this week "to hear voice from another side" as they said. they have been in a very hot point for a long time and things were very bad - separatists still shoot from heavy weapons, many guys died. in the same time they couldn't shoot in return because of Minsk agreement. Russians+separatists have great deal of heavy technics there - tanks and GRADs. I say Russians because I know that there are many Russian and Chechenian soldiers there. As I undestood, separatists take this town as their territory and say that they have a right to shoot there. I don't know if they really do have it. Unfortunately OSCE doesn't go there and Ukrainian government was not helpful and not effective at all in that situation. Today in the morning I read in Internet-news that Ukr army is finnaly leaving that place.
As for my town, now things are good. But at the end of January I was frightened by a public-ultimatum of a separatist-man. He said he likes his town very much (he is from here) and if something happens with Lenin-monument (as you know people take these Lenins off all over Ukraine) - his crew will make some harm to buildings where officials live and it could be a start of conflicts in Zp. You can check this message here: https://vk.com/id24230748?w=wall24230748_4609/all (it is in Russian, maybe you can get a helper to translate it properly. or maybe you can try to do some work by yourself:)
Fortunaly nothing happend.
On the whole things are good. Of course exchange rate gets worse, but I think nowadays it is not the most important.
My personal opinion about separatists is still very far from being tolerant. I find their actions very destructive, in the same time I know that many people are their supporters in Russia and here too. in Russia they truly believe that separatists protect people from Ukr Government and fight for their rights. Here yet I didn't have a chance to speak with such a person who encourages separatists. maybe I will soon.
So that's a Personal report from me:) I hope it is not too big))) Maybe you ask some other guys too - that would be more convincing and truthful.
At the end I woild like to share my little investigation with you - some facts I didn't know earlier about DNR:
a week ago I had a chance to study some information about DNR and found out that first premier minister of it was Russian citizen, polotologist Aleksey Boroday (https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/Бородай,_Александр_Юрье..). Now he is chairman of the Cabinet Counsil. It appeared that he was fully involved in Crimea annexation and took part in happenings of Transnistrian conflicts. My another finding was - first Minister of defence of DNR Strelkov Igor (https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/Стрелков,_Игорь_Иванович)- is Russian military and retired FSB man. Another Russian citizen Bezler Nikolay (https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/Безлер,_Игорь_Николаевич) is their millitary leader. Some other commanders are Russian citizen too, at least I saw a few more. I am not intending to make any conclussions by sharing my investigation with you. I haven't made them for myself yet too. Sorry for links to Russian wikipedia - didn't find any in English, but
I am sure they exist.
Maybe next time I try to learn more about Ukrainian faces in this separatist association.
Molto interessante l'ultima parte. A voi la parola
